Technology is necessary but never underestimate the power of face-to-face interaction. As leaders, we need to seek out opportunities to connect personally.
- Solicit Feedback. Asking for feedback should be done regularly not just annually. By surveying and asking for feedback, you can improve your culture. Employees notice when their feedback gets implemented. You can’t improve anything if you’re not sure what’s wrong.
- Innovate with Your Team. Seek out opportunities to connect and innovate with your team by going off-site. The best ideas stem from your employees.
